JoJo Siwa To Star Exec Produce Nickelodeon -

EXCLUSIVE: Emmy winner Kim Delaney has been tapped to star in Lifetime original movie The Long Island Serial Killer: A Mother’s Hunt for Justice, the network’s latest addition to its winter “Ripped from the Headlines” slate.

The J Team is produced by Ron French (Five Star Christmas). Don Dunn (To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before) is executive producer.

Norville is a two-time Emmy Award winner and anchor of syndicated newsmagazine Inside Edition. She also is the executive producer of the television crime series Executed with Deborah Norville and Exposed with Deborah Norville, both of which air on Reelz. Norville also is the author of several books, including the New York Times bestselling Thank You Power: Making the Science of Gratitude Work for You.

Siwa, who has also released songs such as "Boomerang" and "D.R.E.A.M.," sparked a separate flurry on social media Thursday with a TikTok video in which, bathed in rainbow lights, she sang along to verses from Lady Gaga's anthem "Born This Way."

The J Team, composed by Eydie Faye (Fuller House) and coordinated by Emmy-champ Michael Lembeck (The Santa Clause 2, Tooth Fairy), denotes the principal creation under Awesomeness and Nickelodeon Live-Action Film Studio head Syrinthia Studer. 

Wanting to stay in the running for an upcoming dance competition, JoJo and her best friends, The Rubies (Jones, Romero), must try their hardest to abide by Poppy’s new, harsh rules. Realizing she cannot hide her sparkle or bow anymore JoJo is kicked out of her dance troupe and must rediscover what dancing means to her.

The 17-year-old entertainer announced the exciting news during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (February 3).

The film follows a young lady named JoJo (Siwa) whose life is flipped around when her cherished dance mentor Val (Soltis) chooses to resign and is supplanted by a radiance abhorring educator named Poppy (Campbell-Martin). Needing to remain in the running for a forthcoming dance rivalry, JoJo and her closest companions, The Rubies (Jones, Romero), should attempt their hardest to maintain Poppy's new, brutal standards. Acknowledging she can't conceal her radiance or bow any longer, JoJo is kicked out of her dance company and should rediscover how moving affects her. 

Directed by Michael Lembeck, The J Team is written by Eydie Faye and is produced by Ron French, while Don Dunn serves as an executive producer.
