NAMI Family Support Groups, offered by NAMI Affiliates in communities across the country, are free, confidential and safe groups of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges. In NAMI Family Support Groups, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. Family members can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one living with mental health challenges.

NAMI Connection is a support group for people with mental health conditions. Groups meet weekly, every other week or monthly, depending on location. This program is also available in Spanish, NAMI Conexión.
FOR PERSONS WHO LIVE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS: NAMI Connection is a 90-minute support group run by persons who live with mental illness for other persons who live with mental illness. The program includes NAMI-trained peer facilitators and employs principles of support designed to empower its members. This program focuses on allowing all participants to share their experiences and learn from each other in a safe and confidential environment. NAMI Connection is not illness-specific, and welcomes persons with all psychiatric diagnoses.
Please plan to download and install the Zoom app IN ADVANCE of the support group start time. The password for all support groups is the same and is listed after the meeting ID. If you join from a direct link (like on a computer) you do not need a password.
NAMI Miami-Dade Family Support Groups (FSG) are a free, confidential, and safe family-peer-led support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. NAMI’s Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.
